DAVINA McCall urged Big Brother fans to sign a petition to convince Channel 4 to bring back the 24-hour live feed of the show.
The excuse BB big wigs have given is that people don’t watch the feed, i find that a really rubbish excuse are they really trying to kill big brother from our screens forever…. its really looking that way.
The Sun are running a Petition to bring back the the RED Button, so don’t waste your time go and vote and help get back the live feed

I cast my vote. I also signed the petition on the ipetition website.
I’m looking at the C4 program now. The first eviction.
Cant say Im impressed because I know lots has been edited out.
I won’t get to see all the programs and no point recording to catch up, it will be hard to find time because of work commitments. Which is where the red button was good.
I feel we are missing so much of what actually goes on there so any vote for an eviction is not really fair because we will be voting on what C4 decide to show us.
So if C4 want a particular person to win they will only show their good bits.

THANK YOU DAVINA … i’m glad someones listening to us, if C4 cares to read through the BB forums they will read that people are refusing to vote due to the little we are seeing of the show, to ask us to vote for housemates based on what is shown on a 1 hour show is just stupid, after all we are only being shown what C4 wants us to see, if this continues through out the series C4 will lose out no live feed no votes, BB live didn’t start until 2 am this morning they even put a repeat of celeb wife swap on that was on on Sunday, i thought they were trying to pull in more viewers well so far theres been nothing to view … C4 sort it out.. or lose out..

big brother is dreadful without the red button there are so many of us viewers were so looking forward to big brother we normally watch it all day every day but ime not even going to vote on eviction nights no red button no votes and i hope everyone else does the same

Not saeeing the live feed is an absolute disgrace. I agree with fellow contributors; It’s enough that C4 manipulates the contestants - why the added attempt to manipulate the viewers?
BB has long been been my favourite prog on the tv. Yes, I wake up to sleeping housemates, yes, I like to see the live streaming which informs my vote on a Friday and yes I normally vote!
Now you have reduced my BB viewing to a few minutes each night (and you did NOT even include the nominations of all the housemates (We didn’t see Kris’s nominations), then as a totally loyal viewer for the last six years, I’m debating whether or to just not take any notice any more. I love BB - why have you ruined our viewing???????????????

But I’ve had enough how E4 is being run at the moment with the limited viewing of live coverage of bigbrother, Alien Ressurection is on again tonight (2 night in a row which means bb will start at 1.10am, Its cheeky enough taking away of the 24hr live feed, but this is is taking the mick!

CREDIT CRUCH BIG BROTHER
Hi all, its all about money, whatever pathetic reason they use other than the fact they have probably saved millions in broadcasting and staffing costs not pushing a 24hour feed.
You watch, next year, if they can afford it they will have a massive TV campaign like “The button is back” after careful consideration Big Brother has decided to Bring Back That Button.
If they can’t afford to run a 24hour show next yea I bet it will be cancelled due to the current reaction from not having it.

The more I dont see the Red Button.It makes me more MAD that the people use the internet.Because people like me who want the RED Button Back we have to suffer Because them using the internet.even I have got the internet WAY BEFORE YEAR 2000.
