Shortly after being given the bad news about the condition of her cancer, Jade’s long-term on and off partner and former Celebrity BB housemate Jack Tweed proposed to her.
Rushed arrangements were made and exclusive deals secured with OK! Magazine and LivingTV to provide coverage of the ceremony.
Jade will have a medical team on standby throughout the weekend, should she need further assistance.
Earlier today she was spotted with her bridesmaids picking out a ring and getting her teeth cosmetically whitened.
Jade also expressed interest earlier in the week in getting recent Brit Award winners Girls Aloud to perform on her special day. Band member Sarah Harding said they are trying their best to move things around their schedule so that they can commit.
We’ll have more information on Jade’s wedding tomorrow - but in the mean time, jump over to our Forums for further discussion.
Jade Goody’s ongoing battle with cancer has been dealt further bad news after doctors reported that treatment has been unsuccessful and that she only has a matter of a few months, or even weeks to live.
Doctors at Royal Marsden Hospital informed the former Big Brother housemate that despite an operation to remove the tumour on her bowel, the cancer had spread and that she was to prepare herself and her family for the worst.
Max Clifford, Jade’s publicist, has been on hand throughout her cancer battle and told members of the press that Jade is currently getting her affairs in to order to arrange the best possible future for her two sons, one way of doing this is through the multi-million pound TV and Press deals she has agreed to - namely with Living TV, who continue to produce a documentary of her struggle.
The new batch of celebrity housemates have been instructed to watch video of the 2007 Celebrity Big Brother ‘racism row’ incident, that sparked off worldwide debate and criticism of the show and its participants, during the last Celebrity edition of the show.
Producers of the programme, under advice from Channel 4 bosses, have held one-to-one meetings with each of the new housemates, according to The Sun. Celebrities have been warned that they are to ‘watch and learn’ from the beahviour of Jade Goody, Danielle Lloyd and Jo O’Meara towards series winner Shilpa Shetty.

Executive producer Sharon Powers said: “We told everyone to look on YouTube and sent them DVDs. We’ve spoken to them all in detail about what the boundaries are.”
