The new batch of celebrity housemates have been instructed to watch video of the 2007 Celebrity Big Brother ‘racism row’ incident, that sparked off worldwide debate and criticism of the show and its participants, during the last Celebrity edition of the show.

Producers of the programme, under advice from Channel 4 bosses, have held one-to-one meetings with each of the new housemates, according to The Sun. Celebrities have been warned that they are to ‘watch and learn’ from the beahviour of Jade Goody, Danielle Lloyd and Jo O’Meara towards series winner Shilpa Shetty.

The incidents in the house caused over 50,000 people to complain to governing body Ofcom.

Executive producer Sharon Powers said: “We told everyone to look on YouTube and sent them DVDs. We’ve spoken to them all in detail about what the boundaries are.”

With weeks to go before the launch of the new series of Celebrity Big Brother, Davina McCall has admitted that she thinks the return of the spin-off show “will be amazing.”

Speaking in the Celebrity Big Brother publicity interviews, the show’s host stated: “It’s good to be back, and I can’t wait to get started again!”

Executive producer Sharon Powers admitted there is a buzz around the identities of the latest batch of celebrity housemates: “Given I’m excited about the lineup, it’s a hard one to keep secret but it’s worth it when on launch night each car pulls up and the door is opened to reveal a celebrity, all live.”

“The crowd’s reaction is incredible and we hope the new housemates will be as fascinating to the fans as they live under Big Brother’s ever watchful eye for the next three weeks.”
